Crossfire (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 2)
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2006-05-23 Summary: This is one of the greatest Boba Fett books. ... One thing that totally flawed this book: that it hardly had fighting combat. Anyway, what do you expect? Boba Fett is not a Jedi and is a wanna-be Bounty Hunter (10 yrs of age). This book describes Boba's adventures after the death of his father, and, after Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, especially how he is surviving. Crossfire does contribute to the story evolving in the Prequel Era and ties in well with the movies, other books and the Dark horse comics. For those people who read Boba Fett, you should really pick ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2004-03-13 Summary: Boba Fett ... This was the second in a series about the future bounty hunter, Boba Fett. With his father dead, Boba finds Count Dooku (an employer of Boba's father, Jango) on a garbage planet. He sneeks around and figures out that Dooku is trying to find the Ultimate Force (I don't know the exact name that they gave it.) Later, Clone Troopers attack the planet and rescue Boba as an orphan. Boba then lives on a huge ship in outer space. He decides to now search for his ship, Slave I which was captured by another Bounty Hunter, Aurra ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-01-18 Summary: Star Wars Boba Fett #1,2,3,4,5, and 6 ... By John If you have seen Star Wars movies you are going to like this Series. Boba Fett is a funny trickster who is the son of Jango Fett who is the richest and most feared Bounty Hunter who ever lived. Follow Boba and his adventure to many planets where he learns how to be a Bounty Hunter. I especially like this series because of the things he does to become a Bounty Hunter. Boba is very sarcastic he does not know what to do and he makes funny mistakes. Boba seeks help from his father's friends while being chased ...more
[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2005-08-30 Summary: Boba Fett ... This is the second book in the Boba Fett series. I highly recommend this book, and I recommend the other books in this series, too: -The Fight to Survive (#1) -Maze of Deception (#3) -Hunted (#4) -A New Threat (#5) -Pursuit (#6) ...more
Editorial Reviews ... Product Description | Alone in the world, young Boba Fett must go forth on his path to become a bounty hunter -- even if it means escaping from the evil Count Dooku and getting caught in the midst of the famous Clone Wars. ...more

Tales of the Bounty Hunters (Star Wars )
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-11-04 Summary: Last One Standing ... This is such a good book. Takes me back to my childhood when I first read it. My favorite story is "The Last One Standing". Also, Tales From Jabba's Palace and Tales from Mos Eisley are both equally superb. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2007-08-19 Summary: Bounty Hunter News ... Tales of the Bounty Hunters is a collection of five stories by different authors concerning bounty hunters who captured our attention in Star Wars - IG-88, Dengar, Bossk. Zuckuss and 4-LOM, and, last but certainly not least, Boba Fett. The stories are well written and generally very entertaining. The common ground for the tales is that all of the bounty hunters have been given the opportunity by Lord Vader to find Han Solo and bring him in. Their approaches vary widely. Of course, we know already which of the hunters ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-05-11 Summary: Best Of The "Tales" Books ... While this is the best of the "Tales" books, it suffers from the same problems that plague other stories in the SW Universe...canon. What stories are "true", recognized tales of these characters and what is out-of-continuity schlock? Take them for what they are (stories) and have fun learning about characters that existed for mere seconds on film. It is a funny note, that for years when Empire was only available for view on TV (HBO etc) and shown in "full screen" mode that IG-88 isn't even in the film. He is cut out ...more

Star Wars Vintage Action Figures: A Guide for Collectors
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2005-08-16 Summary: Fantastic addition to the vintage collectors hobby! ... I happened upon this book while browsing through some other Star Wars titles and let me tell you, I'm glad I did! I have been collecting vintage carded Star Wars figures for about 3 years now and I have been dreaming for a book like this. I am by no means trying to collect every cardback and figure variation created by Kenner, but any one can with the help of this book. (And alot of $$$ of course!) Mr. Kellerman covers every aspect of vintage collecting, from sequence(release)numbers, to figure/card variations, vehicles, ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2005-08-28 Summary: Can't imagine a better book on vintage Star Wars action figures ... This is by far the best book on vintage Star Wars action figures that I've ever read (and I've read just about all of them)! Covers all VINTAGE Star Wars figures (and most vehicles and playsets) released by Kenner between 1977 and 1985 (perhaps the author will consider including a section on the Ewoks and Droids figures in the next edition?). Tons of full-color PHOTOS, and tons of details and information you will not find anywhere else. Here are some of the highlights: (1) great photos of every loose and carded Star ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2004-07-10 Summary: A FORCE to be reckoned with.... ... John Kellerman has stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! This book is without a doubt the best on the market. I've been collecting vintage Star Wars figures for 26 years and can honestly say that any collector who doesn't have a copy of this book should have their memory erased! From the pictures to the rarely seen prototypes, this book has it all. It is warm and inviting to the reader, not like some rigid price guides, and has clear, crisp photos. The compilation of this book alone is a triumph in itself! A ...more
[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2005-03-11 Summary: A Must Have! Finally, the Resource Is Here... ... This book is great for Star Wars action figure collectors. It was very helpful as a resource to fully understanding my collection. Excellent photos throughout book. Written clearly. This seems to be the only book in the market to cover the entire vintage Star Wars action figure in such detail. I REALLY, REALLY liked the book. Hopefully the previous reviewer will eventually understand how to like the original bubbled carded action figures too. ...more
[5] Rating: 5 Date: 2004-08-06 Summary: Incredible-a must-buy for collectors! ... Beautifully photographed and exhaustively researched! Nothing like it exists out there. Could we persaude the author to do a volume for the 1995 and beyond material? ...more
Editorial Reviews ... Product Description | As the title implies, the book focuses on the "vintage" toys—those from the Star Wars classic trilogy, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi (the movies made between 1977 and 1985). It provides the most comprehensive and accurate documentation of these popular collectibles. This is the first book that covers these vintage action figures in such detail and with clarity and completeness. It "puts it all together" in one volume and is completely illustrated with high...more

Sacrifice (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book 5)
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-08-15 Summary: Legacy of the Force: Sacrifice ... Next to Inferno (Star Wars: Legacy of the Force, Book 6)this has to be my favourite book in the Legacy of the Force series. How do I begin to review this book? Well, it opens with Ben returning from a mission that Jacen deceived him to go on. This is the beginning of the end for Jacen's tyranny over Ben. I noticed that Ben isn't quite as devoted to Jacen in this book as he was in the earlier books in this series, which is a good thing. Maybe he will finally realize that Luke and Mara aren't as unfair and tyrannical ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-08-27 Summary: A really good book! ... I really liked this book. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because the parts with Boba Fett & Mirta were boring to me. The rest though was good. Jacen sends Ben on a mission to assassinate Gejjen. Mara Jade battles Lumiya. Cal Omas is arrested. Ben overhears Lumiya and Jacen talking in Jacen's office. Mara plans to kill Jacen. Lumiya discovers Jacen's secret. Mara battles Jacen. Jacen lethally poisons her. Luke thinks Lumiya did it so He goes after her and kills her. Ben tells his dad it wasn't Lumiya. I can't ...more

Product Description | Civil war rages as the Galactic Alliance–led by Cal Omas and the Jedi forces of Luke Skywalker–battles a confederation of breakaway planets that rally to the side of rebellious Corellia. Suspected of involvement in an assassination plot against Queen Mother Tenel Ka of the Hapes Consortium, Han and Leia Solo are on the run, hunted by none other than their own son, Jacen, whose increasingly authoritarian tactics as head of GA security have led Luke and Mara Skywalker to fear that their...more
