Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (20 Tattoos Inside!) Golden Books
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 1998-07-05 Summary: An incredibly illustrated book! ... My 3 year old loves this book. He carries it around with him, spending at least 20 minutes a day looking at the pictures asking me to read it to him. The art work in this book really brings the characters to life. I highly recommend this book for children and Star Wars Collectors. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 1998-04-09 Summary: Pretty darn good ... This is a very strong book fitting all the characteristics into one great story that fits the star wars mold beautifully. I only gave this book an 8 because I though it lacked some explanation of some important features in this book. ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2001-12-02 Summary: Great intro to Star Wars. ... This children's book is a great introduction to STAR WARS. The book successfully compacts most of the important plots of the movie. It also contains some great pictures to go along with the words. A few of the words are difficult for real-young, youngsters to understand, but other than that, that's the only drawback. ...more
[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2001-12-03 Summary: The last in the series. ... The final book in this special edition Golden Books series of the first STAR WARS trilogy. RETURN OF THE JEDI finishes the saga begun in A NEW HOPE and continued in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Like the other two books in the series, this book successfully condenses the plot of the movie into a small children's book. Contains some great pictures. Alas, there is no mention of the speeder-bike chase and there are no pictures of the Sarlacc. That's about the only negative aspect of this book. If you've read the first two, ...more
Ghost of the Jedi (Star Wars: Galaxy of Fear, Book 5)
Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 1999-02-16 Summary: Forceflow is. . . ... I really enjoyed this book. It's so cool how Forceflow turns out to be Gog! At first, I couldn't believe what I was reading. Now I see that all of those "warnings" he sent were just for keeping Tash, Zak, and Hoole from meddling in Project Starscream. This book is a definate must-have for any Star Wars fan!! ...more

[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2000-01-15 Summary: Something you'll read again and again . . . ... This book is a treasure to keep forever. On every page, a surprise awaits. However, I only gave it four stars instead of five. When Tash finally enters the "Jedi Library," the ghost roars at her to "GET OUT!". I do not like this line because many books and movies have that very same line. For example in the movie "The Shining," a character uses those very words. In other words, that line was lame. The line should have been in that same tone, I agree, but the actual words were . . . just too simple. Maybe John Whitman ...more
[4] Rating: 5 Date: 2001-01-05 Summary: Great plot twist ... It was a very exciting book because it was a mystery and there were more than one murderers. I thought the character devolopment was very well done. The story was worked out very well and the plot had the a very interesting twist that occurred at the ending. ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2004-06-28 Summary: A nice GENERAL overview of Star Wars Collectables ... Overall, I'd give this book very good rating (three-and-a-half stars... but I rounded up to 4). It was fun to flip through, and includes a nice sample of full color pictures (including several that may be difficult to find elsewhere). It also shows you a sample of items from a wide variety of categories. It is very heavy on figures (a plus), and also covers a wide variety of other items including plush toys, glasses/mugs, games, cereal boxes, cards, comics, and even stained glass sun catchers. However, the book is ...more

The pictures are all in color and very large. Every toy with the exception of 4 from the original Kenner 3 3/4 line are displayed in the book.
